California Voters Say Yes to Clean Energy
On November 2, 2010, California voters voted to protect the state’s booming clean energy economy, defeating Proposition 23 and saying no to dirty oil from Texas.
Historically, Proposition 23 was the largest public referendum to date on climate and clean energy policy. In play with almost 10 million voters, its rejection marks a decisive victory for California’s clean energy future.
